Davidson’s Mains roundabout changes review

19 Sep 2024

A handful of formal objections to the proposed changes to the Davidson’s Mains roundabout has meant council officers are now reviewing the scheme.  National transport law mean even a small number of objections require a review and possible referral to the Scottish Government.

Councillor Kevin Lang said, “After one death and multiple near misses, we’ve campaigned hard for years for changes tom make the area around the roundabout safer for pedestrians. It’s frustrating that we now face another delay, but we’ll keep pushing for the changes which are desperately needed, especially as a key route for school pupils.”
