Action Demanded To Improve Roads, Pavements, and Footpaths
A number of roads and pavements have been resurfaced thanks to record investment fought for Liberal Democrat Councillors in the last two Council Budgets.
Almond ward covers Barnton, Cramond, Dalmeny, Davidson's Mains, Kirkliston, Muirhouse, Newbridge, Ratho Station, Silverknowes and Queensferry.
Working as a team with Alex Cole-Hamilton MSP and Christine Jardine MP, local councillors Kevin Lang, Louise Young and Lewis Younie are strong voices for the area and work hard to get things done locally.

As a Kirkliston resident, Louise really understands the challenges of living in rural West Edinburgh. Louise also brings a strong track record of hard work and community service.
Louise is Chair of the Lib Dem group, and also represents the Almond ward. She sits on the Education, Children and Families committee, and chairs the Licensing Board.
Lewis grew up locally in Ratho Station, and has been campaigning to improve housing in Muirhouse and public transport access for rural West Edinburgh.
He sits on the Finance and Resources and Governance, Risk and Best Value Committees.
