Help us get a new GP surgery for South Queensferry and Dalmeny!

We believe a crisis is emerging in primary health care in Queensferry and Dalmeny, and therefore call on NHS Lothian to work to deliver a second GP practice to help ensure all residents can access local GP services. Despite the commitment and hard work of staff at South Queensferry Health Centre, the growth in population across the area means they are struggling to cope. Local surveys have shown half of local people in Queensferry and Dalmeny can struggle to get a GP appointment when they need one. The practice has already announced it has closed its patient list to new registrants. NHS Lothian and the Scottish Government have failed completely to plan properly for the growth of the local area. It is clear that Queensferry needs a second local GP practice - please back our campaign today and make sure NHS Lothian takes action to improve local health services.
