A&E Waiting Times
Latest figures show that across Scotland only 68% of patients were seen in A&E by the four hour target time in March. Even more shockingly, 12% of patients had to wait over eight hours.
This is causing significant disruptions in hospitals, to hardworking staff that are struggling with continuous and inordinate pressure not to mention putting Scottish people under significant risk.
Alex said, "I met with our new Health Secretary at the start of the month, where we held a constructive conversation, about the pressing nature of this crisis.
"We will continue to push our proposals to the government such as an urgent inquiry into the hundreds of avoidable deaths linked to our emergency care crisis and a health and an NHS staff burnout prevention strategy."
