Bin Hubs Update Dec23

As residents will now know the phase three bin hubs have now been installed. Many have been in touch as the actual installation was the first time that they were aware the bins were being moved.

Local Lib Dem councillor Hal Osler said, "Since the project started under the previous SNP-led Administration, I and my Lib Dem colleagues have supported the call for residents to be consulted about these major changes. Sadly this was not supported by the then Administration and the Greens so residents remained unaware.

"Luckily we now have a new Administration and more of a desire to “listen” to residents has developed and there is now a review process in place of residents to have a say. If you write to waste@edinburgh.gov.uk with your complaint and include some alternative locations, that would be helpful. You are of course welcome to include me in on any correspondence."
