Blackhall Primary School P7 Visit
Back in March I attended an event called the Schools Air Pollution Programme which was about working with schools to educate and engage communities about air quality issues.
Of the 19 Edinburgh primary schools that took part, Blackhall was picked to do a presentation. The level of work and detail that went into the presentation was extremely impressive and to see how we could take some of the ideas forward.
I agreed to go into the school to talk to the P7’s. The visit has been split into two (with the Easter holidays falling in the middle) but the intention is to gather information from the students and take them back to officers so that these ideas can be incorporated into our next Local Development Plan (City Plan 2040) which we are already working on.
