CCWEL Works/Murrayfield Place

We are aware that the impacts of the CCWEL works remain significant for Roseburn and Murrayfield residents. The ongoing closure of Murrayfield Place is causing particular problems and we were pleased to see additional walkways being placed down after concerns about pedestrian safety were raised. The current hold-ups in the area have been caused by works related to the resurfacing of the road surface. Now that the cold weather has receded, these should be completed within the next 2 weeks or so and Roseburn should begin to return to normal.

 Another big issue remains the constantly changing location of the bus stops around Roseburn. This is something which we have picked up directly with the CCWEL Team and are pressing the need for the bus service locally to be restored to its previous position as soon as possible,
