Childcare Support

We were incredibly concerned by the news that the council were intending to end a contract that provided supported childcare for children with additional support needs. This decision would have left struggling families in an even more difficult position. 

At the recent full council meeting, Euan presented an amendment calling for the restoration of this support and ensuring that the scheme will remain open for at least the rest of the financial year. Thankfully the motion was passed so support should remain in place.
