"Council must listen to the community on LTN" say Lib Dems
Thank you to everyone who responded to our survey on the Corstorphine Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN). We received over 1000 responses, most of whom live in the affected streets or in nearby areas.
It is clear that the changes to streets in the Featherhall/Manse area are deeply unpopular, with over 65% of people strongly opposed to most of the measures. We have been calling on the Labour administration to listen to what our community wants.
This is particularly vital with the Manse Road bus gate, which has caused a huge amount of confusion due to poor signage and contradictory road markings.
Local Lib Dem councillor Euan Davidson said, "We have written to the Transport and Environment Convenor, calling on him to take these findings seriously and respond to the legitimate concerns.
"The council have to listen to our community."
