Craigleith Drive Bridge

We were surprised to learn that the section of road under Craigleith Drive Bridge was being considered for closure due to the safety risks that have been raised. The absence of pavements, combined with assessments showing that the average speed is above what is considered safe, has understandably raised concerns.

We are, however, delighted that the community came together and presented a deputation at the Transport and Environment Committee meeting. As a result, the matter will now be given more thorough consideration, including a full consultation process to explore potential solutions and gather input from all stakeholders.
