Dean Village Walkabout
At the beginning of the summer a walkabout was conducted with members of the Dean Village Association to go through some of the issues in the area.
Matters discussed ranged from bins, the state of the walls along Miller Row and double yellow lines, through to the aged play equipment in the Dean Village school yard.
Some tasks have been actioned already, such as the removal of the two small bins (by the bench and the wheel in the school yard), whereas others will take a little longer.
Local Lib Dem councillor Hal Osler said, “I am always delighted to do walkabouts with residents. “After all it’s your environment, you know your areas best and it really helps to get local input.
“I can’t guarantee we can fix everything but it’s always worth asking.”
