Festive Collection Schedule

I know many will think it too soon to mention the “C” word but the Council has released the festive waste collection service which is set out below:

Christmas:

· Collections will run on a delayed service from 25th – 28th December.

o Anyone scheduled for a collection on the 25th will be serviced on the 26th.

o Collections scheduled for the 26th will be serviced on the 27th.

o Collections scheduled for the 27th will be completed on the 28th.

New Year:

· Collections will run on a delayed service from 1st – 4th January.

o Anyone scheduled for a collection on the 1st will be serviced on the 2nd.

o Collections scheduled for the 2nd will be serviced on the 3rd.

o Collections scheduled for the 3rd will be completed on the 4th.

Special Uplifts

· Special uplifts will be suspended from 21st December – 6th January.

Christmas Tree Collections

· The Christmas tree collection service will operate from 27th December – 10th January.

o Information on service areas and dates will be provided online closer to the time. Details will be available on the website.

Garden Waste Collections

· The Garden Waste Service will be suspended from 20th December – 14th January.

Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC)

· HWRC will be closed for members of the public and external trade on 25th & 26th December and 1st & 2nd January.
