Housing Repairs on Parkgrove Bank

Over the last few months, local councillors have met with residents of blocks on Parkgrove Bank and St Kentigern View about the serious damp, mould and repair issues in their buildings. 

Relatively new blocks, these properties should never have faced the serious problems they have. 

These issues have been ongoing for years, with poor communication, unreliable timelines and low quality work all causing lots of stress for residents.

Local Lib Dem councillor Ed Thornley said, “It’s high time this was sorted out. We’re in touch with residents, the Edinburgh Tenants Federation and Council teams to try and speed this work up, and ensure it is done properly. Residents need to know what is happening, and when, so they can have assurance that these repairs – which should never have been necessary – will be completed.”
