The North Edinburgh Path network is one of our city’s hidden gems for walkers, wheelers and cyclists.

Ensuring it’s welcoming and maintained all year round must be a priority for the Council, and Lib Dem councillors recently won extra funding for safety improvements.

Councillor Hal Osler has been working with Council teams on areas of the network which have overgrown and become dumping grounds for flytipping. She said “Going forward, it’s incredibly important we look at the safety of all path users all year round. Whether that’s removing trip hazards or getting better lighting, we will continue to fight for improvements along North Edinburgh’s green corridors”.
