More support needed for local businesses

Christine has called for more support for small and medium sized businesses after reports of closures across West Edinburgh.

She has been meeting businesses across the constituency to hear what the reality is of being a business owner and has called on the Scottish Government to looks at ways of easing the pressure from business rates following the double whammy of Covid debt and the cost of living crisis.

She recently welcomed black business leaders from across Scotland at Edinburgh City Chambers and would be keen to hear directly from other business owners.
