North Gyle Terrace Works

Works have begun to upgrade sewer connections in North Gyle Terrace and are planned to continue until the end of June.

Local Lib Dem councillor Ed Thornley said, "These works are to upgrade sewer connections where the new development at West Craigs connects to the existing network.

"This should have been done ages ago and we, along with the North Gyle Flood Group, have been pushing hard to finally get this done. I'm really glad to see it now underway."

"Hopefully, once complete, these works will alleviate the pressure on the system which has led to sewage flooding into properties in North Gyle."
