Pavement Parking Ban

Scottish regulations governing the enforcement of some new parking prohibitions, namely a ban on pavement parking, on double parking and on parking at dropped crossings are expected to come into force on 11th December 2023.
An awareness campaign will be rolled out across the city over the festive period and it is anticipated that enforcement against infringements of the new parking prohibitions will start in January 2024. More information about this can be found on the first link below and the second link includes a list of streets within the Inverleith Ward where due to several reasons pavement parking has been identified.
