Pavement Parking Ban - Corstorphine/Murrayfield

The enforcement of the ban on pavement parking began on Monday by a small team of Parking Attendants.

Local Lib Dem councillor Alan Beal said, “Many residents have told us of their concerns about this across the Ward, particularly in the Belmonts and Corstorphine Hill. We have seen plenty of displacement parking and difficulties in getting larger vehicles along these streets.”

The Council commissioned report on this identified ‘at risk’ streets and identified possible mitigation measures. These are not council policy, but maybe put forward as plans if the bans causes major problems with access and displacement.
