Roads and Pavement Repair

15 Apr 2025

At April’s Transport and Environment Committee a report was presented outlining the Roads and Infrastructure delivery priorities for 2025/26. This is a huge programme that not only covers road and pavement resurfacing but also dropped kerbs, gully repairs and bus stop maintenance. Knowing how important this is to residents, in recent years at budget time the Liberal Democrats have made sure additional monies are allocated in this area, resulting in the total spend for this year being over £26m.

Locally in the Inverleith Ward you may have already seen the footway on the Queensferry Road beside Orchard Park being improved and if you want to know more about this please click on the here.
