Travelling Safely South ETROs Further Engagement

There will be engagement for ETROs, with reference to Clinton Road and Whitehouse Loan by council officers. While these roads are at the western Southside Newington boundary, roads leading to these - Blackford Road, Hope Terrace and Strathearn Road – are affected. There are to be options to address through-traffic on Clinton Road and Whithouse Loan/Strathearn Road junction, and considerations regarding Women’s safety at night, a review of street lighting and planters. Street letters from Lib Dem Councillors in Morningside and Southside Newington were delivered to residents in these affected areas. You can read further details here.
