Trench in Clermiston Park

Energy works a few months ago left a large trench running through the middle of Clermiston Park.
Running through the centre of the park, all the way to Drum Brae Drive, it presents a serious trip hazard - one which will only become worse as the nights get darker.
Local Lib Dem councillor Ed Thornley said, "I've been working with the Friends of Clermiston Park to get the contractors back out to fix the trench, but despite their promises, so far this has not happened.
"It's a serious hazard, especially with the long grass hiding it, and needs to be filled in. We'll be keeping up the pressure until it is fixed."
