ViewAt the 2022 Council Elections, the Liberal Democrat group in Edinburgh doubled in number to 12 councillors.
Following the elections, we took up leadership positions on three non-political committees and begun to make important strides in the Council for residents.
So far we have achieved big wins on pavement parking, tourist tax, EV charging, trees management, playground maintenance, school air quality and speeding enforcement.
In March 2023, we won the Corstorphine/Murrayfield by-election, with Fiona Bennett becoming our 13th councillor.

ViewStarting Monday 10th July, there will be upgrades to the junction at Abbeyhill which will include more pedestrian space.
After the terrible fire at Craigievar House, the community came together to support residents whose lives has been turned upside down.

With the summer holidays upon us, we have managed to secure an extra large bin in the car park.
