ViewAt the 2022 Council Elections, the Liberal Democrat group in Edinburgh doubled in number to 12 councillors.
Following the elections, we took up leadership positions on three non-political committees and begun to make important strides in the Council for residents.
So far we have achieved big wins on pavement parking, tourist tax, EV charging, trees management, playground maintenance, school air quality and speeding enforcement.
In March 2023, we won the Corstorphine/Murrayfield by-election, with Fiona Bennett becoming our 13th councillor.

ViewThe 31 bus service is proving an unreliable service in East Craigs, with many residents telling us that the bus has been extremely late or not turned up at all. The 12 is also facing serious problems.
Work to widen and provide lighting on the path running from Torwood Crescent towards Meadow Place Road is still planned to begin this year.
Lots of residents have been in touch about cones and other problems on the Crescent.
A number of people have been in touch asking about access to dentists.
The roads and pavements that will be repaired in the new financial year have been announced.
There have recently been reports of sewage being leaked into the Water of Leith at Roseburn.
