Christine is Lothian's busiest MP, figures show
According to figures released by the House of Commons Library, Christine Jardine is Edinburgh and the Lothians’ busiest MP.
Christine was elected the Member of Parliament for Edinburgh West in 2017, re-elected again in 2019 and for a historic third time in 2024.
Before Parliament, Christine was a broadcast journalist with the BBC and taught journalism at the University of Strathclyde.
Since being elected, she has campaigned on air quality, pension equality for WASPI women, medicinal cannabis, refugees' right to work and the cost of living.
